Felicitas is a project started by two sisters. We named it after our grandmother, Felicita. The word means joy and the pursuit of Felicitas is to create objects that enrich the everyday. The project is continued and elaborated upon by Alana Felice.

Felicitas is a Brooklyn-based ceramics brand by me, Alana Felice. I am inspired by the connection people develop with unique everyday objects, like a favorite cup. Every piece is handmade by me—exploring form, texture and color. My hope is to create pieces that you feel connected to and enjoy with every use!

About the Ceramics

All of my ceramics are handmade in my Brooklyn studio then brought to an amazing local community studio -Gasworks NYC- where they are fired, glazed, and fired again in either a gas or electric kiln depending on the piece. Every piece is entirely handmade and will have its own unique qualities. Please allow for slight variations in color and form from piece to piece.

  • While all pieces are dishwasher and microwave safe unless otherwise noted, hand washing is recommended to best preserve and maintain the stoneware.

  • All orders will be processed and mailed within 7 days of placing your order. Tracking information will be sent to the e-mail provided at checkout.

  • Curbside pick ups in Crown Heights, Brooklyn. If you live locally, select the pickup option at check out and leave your phone number. You will be contacted via text within 48 hours of placing your order to arrange pickup.

  • Items that we do not currently have in stock are online and marked “made to order.” These items will take 4-6 weeks to create and then be shipped as usual.

  • We are happy to discuss custom orders with you. If you’re interested in commissioning a piece fill out the contact form with the details of your desired piece and we will be in touch!
